What they are
Cookies and similar technologies allow information to be stored on or read from your device. Some are necessary to provide a service you have requested; others are used for measurement or advertising and may require your prior consent.
Cookies and storage used
We only use Google analytics when you accept it. Rejecting does not restrict access to content or apps. We do not use advertising cookies.
- amasynth-consent: first-party local storage needed to remember your acceptance or rejection, the date and the version of the information presented. It is retained for 180 days, without automatic renewal when you visit the website. It is not sent to Google.
- amasynth_ga and amasynth_ga_…: Google Analytics cookies on the amasynth.com domain. They identify the browser and maintain session state to produce statistics. They are only created after you accept. Their lifetime is limited to the time remaining in your 180-day choice period, without automatically renewing their expiry on each visit; the browser may shorten it.
Technical statistics and any hosting protections are independent of Google Analytics. The apps process audio and files locally. The old storage entry amasynth-last-pitch-system is no longer used and you can delete it through your browser settings.
Newsletter and external links
The Beehiiv form does not load automatically on this website. The subscription button opens newsletter.amasynth.com, a service managed through Beehiiv. The provider's own technologies and processing may be used there; consult its notices and the Beehiiv privacy policy. Links to YouTube and Patreon do not load their players or resources before you visit them either.
Accepting, rejecting and withdrawing consent
When you enter the website, you can accept or reject the only optional purpose: analytics. Continuing to browse does not count as acceptance. You can open “Cookie preferences” from the footer of any page and select “Reject cookies” to withdraw previous consent. When you withdraw it, we stop measurement, delete this website's Analytics cookies and reload the page to remove code that has already loaded; this may stop audio and reset the experiment's controls.
We remember both acceptance and rejection for 180 days. After that period, or if the purpose or this information changes substantially, we will ask for your choice again. If the browser prevents your choice from being saved, analytics will remain disabled. You can also delete the data through your browser settings.
